Patches died way before her time. She had not been ill, and was just fine standing at the manger enjoying her hay only a couple of hours before we found her lying on the barn floor. We feel it was one of those unfortunate "head butting" accidents, as there were no external evidence signs of the cause. It was truly a very sad day at Kids Corral.
